Pneumatic Technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pneumatic Technician to join our team in the oil & gas industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with pneumatic systems,
preferably within the oil & gas sector. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing pneumatic equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities/Tasks:
- Perform routine Safety System Testing and repairs on pneumatic Control panels.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pneumatic panels and end devices.
- Ensure all pneumatic equipment is in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of testing and repairs.
- Conduct regular monthly inspections and tests on pneumatic systems to ensure proper operation and reliability.
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong understanding of pneumatic Safety systems and control panels.
- Proficient in reading schematics, P & ID’s and safe chart.
- Familiarity with pneumatic pilots, level switches, and relays.
- Knowledge of API 14C.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment for troubleshooting pneumatic systems.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance practices for pneumatic equipment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5years of experience working with Safety systems in oil & gas production.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work outdoors and adhere to safety protocols.
- Willingness to work a rotational schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off.
- Must be able to pass a Pre-employment drug test.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
